clinical workstations, announced today that it has begun a dramatic expansion of
its Ferndale, MI headquarters. Founded in 2003, Enovate has grown from a Healthcare IT
Value-Added Reseller (VAR) of medical computer carts to a customer-focused
manufacturing facility with a large direct sales force.
The current expansion will increase Enovate’s existing office and manufacturing workspace
from 9,000 square feet to more than a total of 45,000 square feet and will include the
addition of an onsite woodworking studio and machine shop as well as fully-staffed assembly
and plastics departments. “Our business model is evolving and manufacturing is just one of
our new capabilities,” said Fred Calero, Enovate’s Co-Founder and President. “Hospitals and
private practices alike are demanding reliable, durable and technologically-advanced
computer wall stations and medical laptop carts. Regardless of what happens in healthcare
legislation in the next few years, the healthcare industry is becoming increasingly more
innovative and technology-dependant. In order to keep pace with the demand, Enovate’s
business model now includes a fully-operational manufacturing facility with a skilled R&D
department.” The ability to manufacture medical carts and computing wall stations will
enable Enovate to quickly and efficiently respond to the needs and requirements of the
healthcare community.
While Enovate’s medical cart series and wall-stations are manufactured and assembled in
the USA, Enovate is also committed to investing in the Michigan economy by hiring local
talent for its new divisions.

Enovate forecasts record sales for 2010 and plans for further expansion by the end of the
